Whenever heretofore the salary board in any county of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has authorized the appointment of additional assistant district attorneys in the respective counties, on account of illness of the regularly appointed district attorneys, or on account of unusual circumstances or conditions or increased business arising in the office of the district attorney of such county, when the salary stipulated does not exceed the minimum salary provided for assistant district attorneys in the respective counties or county, the action of the salary board is hereby ratified, approved, and validated.
All other acts or parts of acts inconsistent herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
