Pennsylvania Statutes Title 16 P.S. Counties § 5583. Donations to orphans' or children's homes

The board of commissioners may receive from time to time donations, gifts, legacies, endowments, devises and conveyance or conveyances of property, real or personal, that may be given or granted for the use and purpose of providing a home within the county for the keeping and care of indigent orphans and children dependent upon the public of such county for support.
