The annual salaries of the county commissioners in counties of the second class shall be as follows: The salary of the chairman shall be fifteen thousand ($15,000) dollars, and the salary of the other county commissioners shall be twelve thousand ($12,000) dollars each. Such salaries shall be payable by the county from the county treasury in the manner provided by law.
