Pennsylvania Statutes Title 11 P.S. Children § 445. Appointment of director; compensation

It shall be the duty of a city of the first class to establish the procedure and qualifications for the appointment to the position of director. The director shall take charge of the facility and children committed to such facility together with other adequate personnel, and generally to maintain order and discipline among the children so committed into their keeping. The salary or compensation to be paid to said director, and the personnel of such facility, shall be fixed by the city and paid by the city in which such facility is located.
