(1) An individual may not use the title “medication aide” or “Certified Medication Aide” or the abbreviation “CMA” unless the individual:
(a) Is a nursing assistant;
(b) Has successfully completed training prescribed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing pursuant to ORS 678.440 for the administration of noninjectable medications; and
(c) Is authorized by the board to administer noninjectable medications.
(2) An individual who is currently enrolled in a program approved by the board under ORS 678.444 that includes training in the administration of noninjectable medications may use the title “student medication aide.”
