Oregon Revised Statutes Occupations and Professions § 671.120

The State Board of Architect Examiners shall operate as a semi-independent state agency subject to ORS 182.456 to 182.472 for the purpose of carrying out ORS 671.010 to 671.220. The board shall be composed of seven members appointed by the Governor to four-year terms with three terms maximum. The chair of the board shall be elected by the board from among the current members. The board shall have as members:

(1) Five architects who are residents of Oregon and who have resided in this state for a period of not less than five years; and

(2) Two members of the general public.
