Actions against any employment agency may be brought in the name of the person damaged upon one or more of the bonds or letters of credit maintained by the employment agency pursuant to ORS 658.075 and may be transferred and assigned as other claims for damages. The amount of damages claimed by the plaintiff determines the jurisdiction of the court in which action is to be brought.
