The state police, sheriffs and police officers of this state may enforce ORS 475B.010 to 475B.395 and assist the Oregon Liquor Control Commission in detecting violations of ORS 475B.010 to 475B.395 and apprehending offenders. An enforcing officer who has notice, knowledge or reasonable ground of suspicion of a violation of ORS 475B.010 to 475B.395 shall immediately notify the district attorney and furnish the district attorney with names and addresses of any witnesses, or other information within the officer's knowledge, of the violation.
