To assist the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services in administration and enforcement of the National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974, 1 and safety standards pursuant to ORS 446.003 to 446.200, 446.225 to 446.285, 446.310 to 446.350 and 446.395 to 446.420, the Residential and Manufactured Structures Board may approve or conduct programs of training and education that maintain and advance the professional skills and abilities of persons engaged in manufacturing, delivery, installation, sale or service of manufactured structures.
