(1) If a long term care facility or an intermediate care facility required to be licensed pursuant to ORS 441.015 charges patients for drugs, the following shall be made available to the patient on request:
(a) Name of the drug;
(b) Amount paid by the facility for the drug; and
(c) Amount charged by the facility for the drug.
(2) If a pharmacy charges any person for a drug administered to a patient in a long term care facility or an intermediate care facility, the pharmacy shall provide on request a written bill listing the:
(a) Name of the drug; and
(b) Amount charged by the pharmacy for the drug.
(3) As used in this section, “person” includes the patient and any insurance company or other party responsible for health care costs incurred by the patient.
