(1) The Maternal Mental Health Patient and Provider Education Program is created in the Oregon Health Authority. The goal of the program is to identify and address maternal mental health disorders and to prevent the associated long-term negative outcomes from the disorders that result for women, children and families.
(2) The authority shall develop informational materials for health care providers who serve pregnant and postpartum patients, including patients who have experienced a post-pregnancy loss. The informational materials must be based on the recommendations made in the report of the work group on maternal mental health disorders pursuant to section 1, chapter 624, Oregon Laws 2009.
(3) The authority shall post the informational materials developed under subsection (2) of this section to the authority's website to educate the public about maternal mental health disorders.
