Oregon Revised Statutes Human Services; Juvenile Code; Corrections § 421.450

As used in ORS 421.455 to 421.480, unless the context requires otherwise:

(1) “Local inmate” means a person sentenced by a court or legal authority to serve sentence in a county or city jail, but does not include a child detained by order of the juvenile court.

(2) “State inmate” means an inmate of a Department of Corrections institution.
