Oregon Revised Statutes Education and Culture § 354.680

(1) A district shall not delete television commercial matter in the signals it transmits, without written permission from the broadcasting television station, or in any manner finance the district's operation through the sale of commercial matter in the district's transmissions.

(2) A district may, without elector approval but with permission from the broadcasting television station, generate revenue in the district's transmissions through the acknowledgment or solicitation of financial support considered necessary for the continued operation of the translator.
