When at the request of the Higher Education Coordinating Commission the county clerk of the principal county, in consultation with county clerks of the affected counties, prepares a list or lists of names and addresses of the electors registered in the proposed district, the Office of Community Colleges and Workforce Development is authorized to pay the charge as determined under ORS 255.305.
