If by examination of the obligor under ORS 25.170, it appears that the obligor is the beneficiary and owner of an insurance policy on the life of the child, the court, upon motion of the Attorney General or a district attorney, may order that the obligor assign to the obligee the rights to as much of the proceeds of the insurance policy as necessary to secure the obligation to make support payments, if assignment is permitted in the policy. This assignment shall be in addition to any other security ordered by the court.
