There is established the Division of Child Support of the Department of Justice to be maintained, operated and controlled under the supervision of the Attorney General. The Attorney General may employ attorneys, investigators and other personnel necessary to carry out the duties and functions of the division and fix their compensation, subject to any applicable provision of the State Personnel Relations Law.
