(1) When requested in writing by the Legislative Administrator, the Oregon Department of Administrative Services shall draw a warrant in favor of the Legislative Assembly for use as a revolving fund. Warrants drawn to establish or increase the revolving fund, rather than to reimburse it, may not exceed the aggregate sum of $3,000. The State Treasurer shall hold the revolving fund in special account against which the Legislative Assembly may draw checks.
(2) All claims for reimbursement of advances paid from the revolving fund are subject to approval by the Legislative Administrator. When such claims have been approved, a warrant covering them shall be drawn in favor of the Legislative Assembly, charged against the appropriate funds and accounts, and used to reimburse the revolving fund.
