When a judgment in a criminal action has been executed, the sheriff or officer executing it shall return to the clerk the warrant or copy of the entry or judgment upon which the sheriff or officer acted, with a statement of the doings of the sheriff or officer indorsed thereon, and the clerk shall file the same and annex it to the trial court file, as defined in ORS 19.005.
