Upon the delivery to the justice of the peace of the affidavit as provided in ORS 98.150, the justice shall cause the property to be examined in the presence of the justice, and a true inventory thereof to be made. The justice shall annex to such inventory an order under the hand of the justice that the property therein described be sold at public auction by any constable of the constable district where the property is located, or if there is no constable, then by the county sheriff.
