The boards of trustees of Miami university and the Ohio state university, acting in accordance with such agreements as may be decided upon, shall employ, fix the compensation of, and remove the professors, teachers, administrative personnel, and such other employees of the Wright state campus as necessary. The boards shall do all things necessary for the creation, proper maintenance, and successful operation of the institution with the goal of developing a state university. The boards may accept, hold, and use donations of property, real, personal, or mixed, for the purposes of the institution.
The boards may receive and hold in trust, for the use and benefit of the institution, any grant or devise of land, and any donation or bequest of money or personal property, to be applied to the general or special use of the institution, unless otherwise directed in the donation or bequest. The boards may make and enter into all contracts and agreements necessary or incidental to the operation of the institution.
