(A) No student who is enrolled in an institution of higher education in Ohio and is the victim of a violation of section 2917.211 of the Revised Code shall lose any form of financial assistance provided by that institution for educational expenses, including grants, scholarships, and fellowships, for the sole reason of being the victim of such a violation. Additionally, no institution of higher education shall take any disciplinary action, including the imposition of academic penalties, against that student for the sole reason of being such a victim.
(B) If a person who is the victim of a violation of section 2917.211 of the Revised Code applies to an institution of higher education in Ohio, that person's status as such a victim shall not affect the person's eligibility for any form of financial assistance provided by the institution for educational expenses, including grants, scholarships, and fellowships.
(C) As used in this section, “victim” has the same meaning as in section 2930.01 of the Revised Code.
