Ohio Revised Code Title XLVII. Occupations Professions § 4736.14

The director of health shall issue a certificate of registration in accordance with Chapter 4796. of the Revised Code to a person if either of the following applies:

(A) The person is or has been registered as an environmental health specialist by any other state.

(B) The person has satisfactory work experience, a government certification, or a private certification as described in that chapter as an environmental health specialist in a state that does not issue that certificate of registration.
