The state cosmetology and barber board, on its own motion or on receipt of a complaint, may investigate or inspect the activities or premises of an individual or entity who is alleged to have violated this chapter or Chapter 4709. of the Revised Code or rules adopted under either chapter, regardless of whether the individual or entity holds a license, registration, or permit issued under this chapter or Chapter 4709. of the Revised Code.
