(A) As used in this section, “biologically derived methane gas” has the same meaning as in section 5713.30 of the Revised Code.
(B) Any property, equipment, or facilities installed or constructed by a natural gas company to enable interconnection with or receipt from any property, equipment, or facilities used to generate, collect, gather, or transport , or to enable the supply of biologically derived methane gas to consumers within this state, may be treated as instrumentalities and facilities for distribution service if the public utilities commission determines that treatment is just and reasonable. If the commission makes that determination, the property, equipment, or facilities shall be considered used and useful in rendering public utility service for purposes of section 4909.15 of the Revised Code.
