(A) In addition to any other name prescribed in the Revised Code or otherwise, all of the following shall be known as the “Brigadier General Charles Young Memorial Historical Corridor”:
(1) The northeastbound and southwestbound lanes of United States route number forty-two between the intersection of United States route number forty-two and campus drive and the intersection of United States route number forty-two and United States route number sixty-eight in Greene county;
(2) The northbound and southbound lanes of United States route number sixty-eight between the intersection of that route and United States route number forty-two in Greene county and the intersection of United States route number sixty-eight and United States route number sixty-two in Brown county;
(3) The northbound and southbound lanes of United States route number sixty-two between the intersection of that route and United States route number sixty-eight and the Simon Kenton bridge in Brown county.
(B) The director of transportation may erect suitable markers along the highways indicating their name.
