The medical quality assurance fund is created, which shall be in the custody of the treasurer of state but shall not be part of the state treasury. The fund shall consist of all money transferred to it as a result of the repeal of section 3701.89 of the Revised Code on January 1, 2026, by H.B. 238 of the 135th general assembly and its requirements related to the repeal of that section. All investment earnings of the fund shall be credited to the fund.
All money in the fund shall be used as directed by the general assembly.
