(A) Before entering into a contract to employ a construction manager or construction manager at risk, a public authority may advertise in news media available in the county where the contract is to be performed, and shall advertise by electronic means, notice of its intent to employ a construction manager or construction manager at risk. The notice shall invite interested parties to submit proposals for consideration and shall be published at least fourteen calendar days prior to the date for accepting the proposals. The public authority also may advertise the information contained in the notice in appropriate trade journals and otherwise notify persons believed to be interested in employment as a construction manager or construction manager at risk.
(B) The advertisement shall include a general description of the project, a statement of the specific management services required, and a description of the qualifications required for the project.
