New York Consolidated Laws, Vehicle and Traffic Law - VAT § 2284. Registration record

Upon receipt of sufficient application for registration of an ATV, as provided in this article, the commissioner shall enter upon the records of the department the registration of such vehicle under the distinctive number assigned to such ATV as provided in this article.
