1. 1 A guardian of the property of an infant shall protect, preserve and manage the property of the infant. He shall have the power to sell the personal property of the infant for any purpose connected with the faithful discharge of his trust, including investing such property or the proceeds thereof, changing investments and disposing of investments, except where his authority is otherwise limited by court order or decree, or in the case of a testamentary guardian, by the terms of the will which appointed him.
