As used or referred to in this article, unless a different meaning clearly appears from the context. 1. The term “employees' retirement system” shall mean the New York state employees retirement system.
2. The term “police and fire retirement system” shall mean the New York state and local police and fire retirement system.
3. The term “each retirement sytsem” 1 shall mean each of the foregoing defined systems.
4. The term “comptroller” shall mean the state comptroller.
5. The term “actuary” shall mean the actuary of the employees' retirement system acting jointly with the actuary of the police and fire retirement system.
