If any trustee of any such incorporated church declines to act, resigns or dies, or ceases to be a qualified voter at a corporate meeting thereof, his office shall be vacant; and such vacancy may be filled by the remaining trustees until the next annual corporate meeting of such church; at which meeting the vacancy shall be filled for the unexpired term.
