Any unincorporated church wishing to incorporate as an Assemblies of God church under this article shall first apply to the presbytery of the New York district of the Assemblies of God for written approval. Upon receipt of such approval, the applying church may become an incorporated church by executing, acknowledging and filing a certificate of incorporation as hereinafter provided. There shall be attached to such certificate the written permission to incorporate by the New York district of the Assemblies of God, or their successor.
