A corporation authorized by or entitled to the benefits of this article, conducting a running or steeplechase meeting, shall have the right to charge increased or additional entrance fees for admission to any special portion or portions of the grounds of such corporation, unless such pool-selling or bookmaking as is punishable by fine or imprisonment, or other acts so punishable be thereon authorized or knowingly permitted.
