1. Every local board of health shall meet at stated intervals to be fixed by it.
2. The presiding officer of every local board of health may call special meetings thereof when in his judgment the protection of the public health of the municipality requires it, and shall call such a meeting upon the petition of at least twenty-five residents thereof, of full age, setting forth the necessity of such meetings.
3. Any matter within the jurisdiction of a town or village board of health may be considered and acted upon at any regular or special meeting of such town board or village board of trustees.
