Certain historic sites heretofore have been established or designated by law. Pending further developments in the reorganization of the office, such sites are continued pursuant to the provisions of this article, subject to the commissioner's general powers of reorganization pursuant to section 3.07. Any historic sites hereafter shall be established or designated by the commissioner pursuant to the applicable provisions of this chapter.
