New York Consolidated Laws, Family Court Act - FCT § 1022-a. Preliminary orders;  notice and appointment of counsel

At a hearing held pursuant to section one thousand twenty-two of this part at which the respondent is present, the court shall advise the respondent and any non-respondent parent who is present of the allegations in the application and shall appoint counsel for each in accordance with section two hundred sixty-two of this act, unless waived.
