The division of state police shall maintain a statewide repository of data relating to unlawful methamphetamine laboratories, and develop and implement a program to provide for the collection of data and the reporting thereof by law enforcement agencies. Data acquired by law enforcement agencies relating to unlawful methamphetamine laboratories shall be sent to the repository as soon as reasonably practicable. Data in the repository shall be made available to law enforcement agencies for the purpose of assisting them in combating the unlawful manufacture, preparation or production of methamphetamine.
