1. Any board of health named in subdivision 1 of section 17-1709 shall examine into any alleged offense against section 17-1709 within its jurisdiction and cause the same to be abated, by injunction or otherwise, if found to exist.
2. Any person violating any provision of section 17-1709 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and punishable by a fine of not more than seven hundred fifty dollars or by imprisonment for not more than one year or by both such fine and imprisonment.
