1. The department, in consultation with the department of health, shall conduct a study of potential uses of greywater and reclaimed wastewater in New York state, and develop a strategy for promoting water reclamation projects.
2. Such study shall be completed within eighteen months of the effective date of this section and a report of the findings from the study shall be presented to the governor, the speaker of the assembly and the temporary president of the senate within ninety days of the completion of the study.
