1. The governor shall appoint, with the advice and consent of the senate, the president of the corporation. The president shall be the chief executive officer of the corporation and shall serve at the pleasure of the governor.
2. Any vacancy shall be filled for the unexpired term in the same manner as the original appointment.
3. The salary of the president shall be fixed by the governor from appropriations made to the corporation.
