Notwithstanding the provisions of section thirty-six hundred nine-a of this part, apportionments payable pursuant to subdivision six of section ninety-seven-nnnn of the state finance law shall be paid pursuant to this section. The definitions of “base year” and “current year” as set forth in subdivision one of section thirty-six hundred two of this part shall apply to this section.
1. The moneys apportioned by the commissioner to school districts pursuant to subdivision six of section ninety-seven-nnnn of the state finance law for the two thousand fourteen-two thousand fifteen school year and thereafter shall be paid as a commercial gaming grant, as computed pursuant to such subdivision, as follows:
a. For the two thousand fourteen--two thousand fifteen school year, one hundred percent of such grant shall be paid on the same date as the payment computed pursuant to clause (v) of subparagraph three of paragraph b of subdivision one of section thirty-six hundred nine-a of this article.
b. For the two thousand fifteen--two thousand sixteen school year through the two thousand eighteen--two thousand nineteen school year, seventy percent of such grant shall be paid on the same date as the payment computed pursuant to clause (ii) of subparagraph three of paragraph b of subdivision one of section thirty-six hundred nine-a of this article, and thirty percent of such grant shall be paid on the same date as the payment computed pursuant to clause (v) of subparagraph three of paragraph b of subdivision one of section thirty-six hundred nine-a of this article.
c. For the two thousand nineteen--two thousand twenty school year and thereafter, one hundred percent of such grant shall be paid on the same date as the payment computed pursuant to clause (ii) of subparagraph three of paragraph b of subdivision one of section thirty-six hundred nine-a of this article.
2. Any payment to a school district pursuant to this section shall be general receipts of the district and may be used for any lawful purpose of the district.
