The office of the chancellor shall include a notice in the official score report of all students who received a score of “advanced” on the seventh grade state assessment in either English Language Arts or Mathematics, informing the student of opportunities to apply for admission to the specialized high schools authorized in paragraph (b) of subdivision one of section twenty-five hundred ninety-h of this article; provided that the chancellor shall annually notify all seventh grade students of opportunities to apply for admission to such schools.
