The district superintendent shall thereupon, in case of an affirmative vote, issue an order consolidating such districts and creating a common school district, or union free school district, as the case may be, designating such district by a simplified name in accordance with section three hundred fifteen of this chapter. Such order shall take effect at some date to be specified therein, not more than three months after the date of the meeting. He shall file such order in the town clerk's office of the town in which such districts are located. If such districts are located in two or more supervisory districts, such order shall be executed jointly by the district superintendents of such districts. Such order shall have the same effect as an order executed by a district superintendent dissolving two or more common school districts and forming a new district therefrom, or dissolving one or more of such districts and uniting the territory thereof to a union free school district.
