There is no liability on the part of and no cause of action of any nature arises against any member insurer or its agents or employees, the Association or its agents or employees, members of the Board or the Commissioner or the representatives of the Commissioner for any act or omission by them in the performance of their powers and duties under this chapter. This immunity extends to participation in any organization of other state associations whose purposes are similar, and to any such organization and its agents or employees.
