A person who is an insurer or an agent or employee of an insurer shall not place before the public by any means any advertisement, announcement or statement which uses the existence of the Nevada Insurance Guaranty Association or the Nevada Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association for the purpose of inducing the purchase of, or discouraging the termination of, any insurance covered by the Association. This section does not apply to either of the associations named.
