1. It is unlawful for a person to alter a license or certificate of registration issued pursuant to this chapter.
2. It is unlawful for a person to reproduce mechanically or otherwise duplicate a license or certificate of registration issued pursuant to this chapter for purposes of fraud, deception, misrepresentation or other illegal purposes. A person may duplicate a license or certificate of registration issued pursuant to this chapter for a lawful purpose, including, without limitation, for purposes of displaying a duplicate license or certificate of registration pursuant to NRS 644A.530, 644A.535, 644A.615 or 644A.710.
