The Board may delegate its authority to conduct hearings pursuant to NRS 640E.290 concerning the discipline of a licensee to a hearing officer. The hearing officer has the powers of the Board in connection with such hearings, and shall report to the Board his or her findings of fact and conclusions of law within 30 days after the final hearing on the matter. The Board may take action based upon the report of the hearing officer, refer the matter to the hearing officer for further hearings or conduct its own hearings on the matter.
