A licensed tester also shall retain in testable condition a sample of all milk or cream tested for a period of not less than 72 hours after such tests of milk or cream have been made. The tester shall be responsible for the safekeeping of such samples of milk or cream and shall retain the same in his or her custody for such period of time.
