In addition to denying, suspending or revoking a permit pursuant to NRS 584.210 or the imposition of any other penalty pursuant to the provisions of NRS 584.180 to 584.211, inclusive, the Director may impose a civil penalty of not more than $1,000 for each violation of those provisions, which may be recovered by the Director in a civil action in a court of competent jurisdiction. All sums recovered under this section must be deposited with the State Treasurer for credit to the State General Fund.
