Nevada Revised Statutes Title 48. Water § 539.407. Powers of local board

Subject to the limitations contained in NRS 539.410, the local board of directors shall have the power to contract with the United States for the operation of the existing system described in NRS 539.405, or for the construction either by such division or by the United States of local drains, laterals or other improvements and for the operation and maintenance thereof, or for the replacement or extension of existing works or structures and for the operation and maintenance thereof or any separate part of the same.
